De Courceys Manor, Pentrych – review

This week I went to the Very Big Bucket List Ball at the beautiful De Courceys Manor in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Hospice in Penarth.

Fantastic cause, grand venue and great food.

My eat of the week

  • Perl Wen fritters with a grape chutney and walnut oil, creamy leek velouté with chive creme fresh, braised faggots in a Penderyn whiskey and orange jus
  • Pan fried supreme of chicken with a confit chicken bubble and squeak, fondant potatoes, glazed baby carrots and a lemon and tarragon jus
  • Sticky toffee pudding, banana ice cream with toffee sauce and a banana tuille
